RJ & Lauren are two very smart, adorable people, and they are even more adorable together! They are very sweet, and I couldn’t have had a better time with them and their families! A beautiful and full of meaning mass at the beautiful Church of the Nativity in Burke VA, followed by a wonderfully decorated reception at Harbour View in Occoquan, VA! Such a great group of family and friends, and such a beautiful wedding! 🙂 And what a wonderful family, too! They all made me feel like I was a part of their family as well. What a special feeling. 🙂 Completed by wonderful Italian tones and food, Christmas trees and lights, unique glasses with the couple’s names on them, a special saxophone serenade for the bride, special items that meant a lot to the bride and her family, heartfelt speeches, tearfully happy parent dances, and a special boat departure on the river, (hosted by RiverShore Charters) accompanied by sparklers and glow sticks! I really loved how they had the Christmas lights throughout the reception. That made for some really neat photos! 😀
Once we arrived at the reception site, we had some fun doing some bridal party pics, before everyone got too cold. 🙂 It was wonderful, because we still had some of the fall colors left in a few trees, so we were able to find a pretty spot right next to the water to use for a few of the bridal portrait and photos! 🙂
Now, let the party begin! I loved how many people got involved with the dancing, too!
The groom even had a special serenade surprise for his beautiful bride! Saxophone player extraordinaire! ♥ Talk about how to make your girl swoon…play beautiful jazzy music for her!
The DJ did an awesome job, too! Great crew all around!
Another special vendor there was our friend Mat Slagle and his team at Message Media! They did an amazing job covering the magical evening with their video-mastery!
