Weifan & Amy’s Spectacular Wedding! ♥ | Riverview Occoquan Virginia

Weifan and Amy had a very unique and special wedding, and I was super happy and felt honored to be a part of it!  They are just so perfect for each other!  I love how they included alot of their personalities in their decor’ and details.  (they did them themselves…I just love how much thought was put into the details!)  First, the adventure started with the most adorable little “Miniature Aussie” puppy as part of their day, followed by a visit from 4 Fairfax County Firetrucks & strapping Firemen, then later followed by a police boat congratulating the couple on the docks over their speakers!  What a fun day, and we were able to capture all those wonderful details, emotional moments, important “un-posed” candid moments with friends & family, etc.  I just love how they put their own personal touch on their decorations, and how it made the day so much more unique.

AND…of course, we wouldn’t have a COVID-19 style wedding without a beautiful smattering of sanitizers in the mix!  🙂  Boy did they smell good though!

SOOO….right in the middle of everyone getting ready, the fire alarm sounded!  So we had to herd everyone outside half-ready and wait for the Fairfax County Fire Department to arrive!  They ended up bringing 4 trucks, and we were able to get some impromptu portraits using the trucks!  (I decided to be bold and ask them if we could take some pictures in front of the ladder truck, and they even let the bride and groom go IN the truck!  ♥  Needless to say, Amy let out a shriek of excitement, because this just made their special day so much more unique and special!

Okay…this one below is one of my absolute favorites!  ♥ ♥ ♥

Then there was yet one more memorable moment!  The wind decided it wanted to show us a good time as well, so here’s what we got!  🙂
