About Your Photographer

Hello there!  My name is Sara Roney.  love everything coffee, outdoors, and artistic & craftsy!  I am an experienced Photographer of 19 years now, and have found my God-given purpose in life!  I have been gifted the passion, and blessed to be the proud owner of a successful Photography business, serving people doing what I love!

I am the eldest of 5 children (3 brothers, 1 sister) and my family was always supportive of my passions.  My parents even enrolled me into a painting program with one of the top 5 artists in Maryland, Steve Burdette.  That led me to a competition, which one of my paintings won 1st AND 2nd place in the State-wide MD competition!  I even got to take one of my paintings to a National Art Competition, too! 

I got to marry my best friend, John back in October of 2009, and we have been blessed with two smart, sweet, talented adorable kids:  John (who is now 11 yrs. old) & Abigail, who is 7.  We love working together on our business as a team, playing & adventuring together as a family, and feel very blessed with how successful this service has become!  My parents homeschooled all 5 of us kids growing up, so my husband and I decided we would homeschool ours too.

One of my favorite things to do in this world is fishing.  (There’s just something about the wind in the trees, the lack of human hustle-and-bustle, no cars rushing by, the birds chirping, river rapid lapping against the sky, occasional deer crossing my path, butterflies landing on my feet, the line floating downstream…There are just so many little things that make up my “happy place”.)  I’m sure it’s also just getting out in nature, which I absolutely adore…and couldn’t live without; most definitely aa part of me!  I have also managed to instill that obsession in my son, John too!  🙂  So many of our trips are spent going together to our favorite spots, trying to catch the very illusive trouts…but more importantly, spending quality time together.  🙂  (I am learning to enjoy it even if I don’t catch any fish!  lol)  SO, when I’m not clicking away with my camera, designing things, or building projects…you can most definitely find me wandering up to my favorite spot in the river any chance I get!  

I am a Graphic Designer by trade…so I also provide Graphic Design services to our brides + grooms as well!  (invitations, place cards, thank you cards, etc.)  If you’d like to check out some of my work, check out the Fanpage on Facebook HERE!  Graphic Design and Photography are my top 2 passions in life, next to fishing…and I don’t know what I’d do without them.  I love to work, and I love to be creative and be inspired.  A “Creative Itch” if you will.  🙂  Hopefully I can inspire you, too!  We have so many happy clients, and are happy to be where we are today!

AND NEED YOU!  DON’T FORGET TO GET THESE LITTLE MOMENTS CAPTURED ON CAMERA,

SO YOU CAN FOREVER HAVE THEM!  BECAUSE THOSE MOMENTS DISSAPPEAR SO QUICKLY.
