One of the things that makes my job most worth-while is to make people happy! And I of course like the wonderful moments to capture during weddings: the raw emotion, festive spirit, colors, traditions, and most of all: LOVE.
Yesterday was a beautiful wedding from a couple I instantly made friends with when we met! They were so sweet and we just had lots of fun talking when we met. They even got to meet my little ham-of-a-son., John. When the Big Day came, we had so much fun taking detailed pictures, posed pictures, and candid pictures of the getting ready and the beautiful reception! (They had already gotten married via the courthouse, so this was a huge celebration to make it final)
Her dress was amazing, just like she was, and she looked sooo gorgeous when she came out in her dress! I heard her scream when she looked in the mirror, because it surprised her how amazing she looked! The dress was a mermaid-style design, and it fit her perfectly, accenting her slender fit figure!
The jewelry was a wonderful choice, too! The necklace and earings made her eyes sparkle (as if she needed another reason for her eyes to sparkle 😉 So we had some fun taking some great “modelesque” photos of her in her gown before our departure to the reception; Maggianos Little Italy, in Tysons VA.
The reception was a magazine design fantasy! Beatrice herself helped design all of it, and came up with all the ideas! I couldn’t stop taking pictures of it, it was so beautiful. 🙂 –I’ve heard from clients that they’ve had Photographers cover an event and never took pictures of any details…but I think that’s one of the most important parts to capture! That’s part of what makes the pictures, AND the day so beautiful.–
The couple was so happy! Cline is perfect for her, and makes her so happy…you can just tell! They take good care of each other, and his little girl loves her new mother, too! ♥
We had a lot of fun at the reception…too many pictures to bombard you with, but I’ll put a few in here 🙂
