Braehead Farm | Fredericksburg, Virginia | Rustic Farm & Sunflower Venue!

Looking for a rustic farm that has a lot of different spots to take your special photos?  This full operating farm is a hidden treasure, right in Fredericksburg, only an hours’ drive from Washington DC!  They have pick your own produce, a wonderful farm shop where you can purchase farm-made local produce and products such as milk, cheese, meat, and yummy sandwiches.  They even have fun activities for families, host events like birthday parties and weddings, and is a great place to take your special portraits if you’re looking for something more rustic, farm-like, or fields.  (some examples of photographs taken here:  Maternity, Family Portraits, Mini-sessions, engagement portraits, weddings, and even headshots!)  This place pretty much has it all.  If you’re looking for a rustic, clean farm to take pictures at, this place is great.  They also don’t charge a sitting fee for Photographers, either…which is a nice plus!  This place has a lot of character  🙂  I visited here to scout out spots to take pictures for a session coming up, and here’s what I found!
