Taproot (21402 Unison Road, Middleburg, VA 20117) is one of those few locations which has an impressive view of the Blue Ridge mountains. With no trees, bushes or other hills standing in your way, your view will just include, you, your fiance, your guests and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Taproot has a real old-world elegance about it and indeed the building itself is a historic building which is modelled on Hope Plantation in Winsor, North Carolina, a grand manor house built by David Stone, Governor of North Carolina and a US Senator. With local history including a local battle in which President Lincoln was a key figure, it is little wonder why this area is considered to be so special. Needless to say, your wedding photos will be stunning.

As for the venue? The staff and management at Taproot are experienced try to perfect everything for your special day. Of course, as Taproot is in the country they have their own phenomenal catering service which can be given to your guests in a variety of different ways from buffet to sit-down meal.

As if that wasn’t enough, at Taproot, you and your fiance have the option to take a drive around the grounds in a horse and carriage, accompanied by champange. What better way to discuss your vows and think about the important step your have both taken together?

 

Idyllic and Calming Wedding Venue In Chantilly Virginia

Sunset Crest Manor (42230 Mayhew Lane, Chantilly, VA 20152) is venue, meanwhile, which, with eighty two acres, has captured country charm and yet mantained a close proximity to DC itself. At Sunset Crest Manor you won’t be disappointed: a family-owned business, the staff here are dedicated to your special day and they have created a venue which can cater for any celebration and any bride’s tastes. They have both indoor and outdoor ceremony locations and have a number of different locations for your guests to have a cocktail, including next to a pool! One particular positive point about this location is the fact that the Banquet Hall is large and contains dance lights, a professional sound system and a DJ booth, complete with music. So, whoever is DJ-ing or performing: they are bound to sound good! They also have enough space to fit even a large gathering of two hundred and fifty guests.  

One particular positive aspect at this venue is the great outlook by the family who own the business. They know how stressful, expensive and difficult planning a wedding can be. As such, they do not have any secret charging techniques to foil you with huge bills at the last minute. They do not charge for particular ceremony sites, cake-cutting fees or corkage fees. Once you have paid the venue their upfront fee, that is it! This venue is stunning, beautiful and thankfully, stress-free!

Finally, have have Farmer’s Delight Plantation at the McGhee Foundation (36276 Mountville RoadMiddleburg, VA 20117 ). Another gem which can be found close to DC, this venue has a sense of historic charm yet impressive country views including fields and mountains. Your guests will feel as though they have stepped back in time! Why would you choose this location? Well, if you are into nature, the outdoors and classic beauty this is the venue for you. First of all, the eighty acres which the McGhee Foundation own have a wealth of different attractions for your and your guests to see, including: a large pond, English gardens, an arboretum, a maze, terraced gardens with both fountains and mountain views. Their biggest selling point? A stunning wedding grove complete with miniature chapel which can used for weddings in spring, summer and fall. Farmer’s Delight Plantation can also house up to two hundred and fifty guests which is an extra bonus.
